As part of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Sea Breeze presents a film dedicated to the project’s environmental development and ESG approach, which has become one of the key foundations of the resort city’s growth.
The film tells the story of the transformation of the Caspian Sea coastline, from a barren shoreline into a modern resort city featuring large-scale landscaping, thoughtfully designed infrastructure, and a long-term commitment to sustainable development.
Special attention within the project is given to maintaining ecological balance, preserving the natural landscape, and creating a comfortable urban environment. Today, the landscaped area of Sea Breeze covers approximately 300 hectares. More than 11 million trees and plants have been planted across the территории, many of which were brought from Turkey, Spain, and Germany. The area has also seen an increase in bird, squirrel, and fox populations, becoming part of the positive transformation of the coastal ecosystem.
“Everything related to Sea Breeze, wherever we build, we always think about the environment. If we don’t think about it, future residents will not have confidence that they are buying property in a place where anyone cares about these issues at all,” says the project’s founder, Emin Agalarov, in the film.
