On October 27, a ceremony was held to unveil a star dedicated to writer and playwright Maksud Ibrahimov, attended by his wife, Anna Ibrahimova.
Among the guests were Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation; Emin Agalarov, founder of the Walk of Fame and owner of the Sea Breeze resort town; People's Writer of Azerbaijan Anar Rzayev, journalist, TV and radio presenter Mikhail Gusman, friends, relatives, and close friends of Maksud Ibrahimbekov.
Emin Agalarov noted that he had known Maksud Ibrahimbekov since childhood: "We were neighbors at our dachas in Nardaran, and throughout our childhood, together with my friend Fuad Ibrahimbekov, we watched famous creative personalities—actors, writers, playwrights—come here. It became clear then that this coast attracted the cultural intelligentsia. That's how the creative principle of this resort was born, I just added the musical component to it."
Maksud Ibrahimbekov is a People's Writer of Azerbaijan, playwright, screenwriter, and his books have been published in many countries around the world. In 2012, the writer was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
