First private yacht club in Azerbaijan has opened in Sea Breeze

On May 18, the grand opening of Sea Breeze Marina took place — a long-awaited event in the life of the Sea Breeze resort city.

The founder and owner of Sea Breeze, Emin Agalarov, together with his partners Orkhan Mustafayev and Arad Tevalkov, who are developing the picturesque residential quarter Marina Village, cut the red ribbon and unveiled the highly expected project.

“Today we are opening a complex engineering facility — Sea Breeze Marina, a fully-fledged yacht club that we have been working on for the past two years. Sea Breeze Marina will operate for the enjoyment of all residents and guests of the resort city,” said Emin Agalarov.

He also announced the signing of a contract with the Russian tour operator FUN&SUN.

Guests enjoyed a DJ set by DJ CAME, a performance by The Excellent Music Band, and live music by Elvin Salmanov — a 12-time presidential award laureate at international saxophone competitions and a participant of the “Winter 2019” festival — followed by a festive evening fireworks display.

As part of the event, the Azerbaijan Sailing Federation held master classes for children: young yachtsmen had the opportunity to take a short course onshore and enroll in a yachting school for further training.
