Sea Breeze Resort plants pomegranate boulevard – a legacy of the COP29 climate conference

On November 16, the resort town of Sea Breeze near Baku hosted an event dedicated to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). The event featured presentations on initiatives for the future development of the project as a “green” city, as well as the planting of a new pomegranate boulevard on the territory, which will become a legacy of the COP29 climate conference held in Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the founder and owner of the resort city, Emin Agalarov, the owner of the Scott Brownrigg architectural bureau, Darren Comber, the Sea Breeze Landscape department, residents, and COP29 participants. The first tree on the avenue was planted by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Emin and Ali Agalarov.

In the future, pomegranate trees will adorn the entire Sea Breeze boulevard, which currently stretches for 7 km. This landmark event continued the implementation of the Sea Breeze development plan, which today represents not just a luxury resort and coastal village, but a true city of the future with an unprecedented plan for greening the area.
